The more happy campers like this the more pain will be felt by those
who can't get decent reception.

Ooops! Wishful thinking, freudian slip, whatever.

But take heart, John. The other day, one of my co-workers asked about
new TV sets. He didn't want cable or DBS, he mostly wanted to know about
TVs to use for DVD playback.

I asked him if he knew about DTT. No, he really did not. So I asked if
he ever watched TV at all, and he said yes, some, with an attic-mount
antenna.

I told him about this DTT thing we have now, and how new TV sets have
built-in DTT reception, and how his antenna should probably be just
fine.

He just came in to tell me he was blown away by all the stations he
could receive and how good the picture is. He bought a Sony of some
kind. I had already heard that Sony sets use good ATSC receivers. He was
amazed by all the multicast channels. He said, "This is better than
cable."

See? A happy, new customer who wonders why he was never told.

Bert
