The article was about a person who "cut the cord"
The article was about exactly what the title states. And as an very bad
example, they happen to have used one individual who happily jumped from the
frying pan to the fire. My comment is, the article, and that individual, have
no idea how the Internet is used.
Just as you would not search for a greeting card, or a book, or whatever gizmo,
at just ONE SITE, you should not expect to have to do that for TV content
either.
It's exactly like I asked a long time ago, Craig. What makes it about TV that
turns everyone freakin' stupid? Honestly, you'd think they don't know how to
use search engines. The very least the NYT could have done is to explain how
these limited use little boxes give you no flexibility. And proceed to educate,
rather than befuddle.
Wrong. Both the press release and the website claim 75%.
You keep trying to disagree with facts, but you never get them right:
http://www.tvtechnology.com/news/0002/17-percent-of-us-households-are-otaonly/278987
"If you include homes that have no TVs at all-about 3 percent of all
households-then less than three quarters, or 73 percent, of U.S. homes continue
to have pay TV service, .."
There is nothing remotely ambiguous about this, Craig.
