The networks DON'T want to be in the broadcast business anymore. They just want to control it.

This is just the politicians and media conglomerates orchestrating a return to the Golden Age of Television where choice is limited. Wouldn't want to eliminate the service that gives the conglomerates the ability to control distribution and collect those retrans consent fees.

And those who are most likely rely on the OTA service are probably the ones most in need of indoctrination - welcome to America all of you illegal immigrants!
