What is there to choose from on embedded Linux? Netfront, Opera Embedded, MiniMo, Firefox/Mozilla, Dillo, Konqueror/E, Fresco. All of these support full HTML (some slightly less than others, but nothing to the extent of being special purpose). But regardless, Sharp has a long history of using Opera on ARM-based embedded linux platforms like their Linux PDAs. So I very much doubt feature set is the reason.
