No. I am stating the obvious. We evolved from simple closed Ethernet

network of networks that allow secure connections and VPNs using the
public portions of the Internet.
It's like, where do I begin? The Internet tied together, initially, sites that
were NOT freely available to the public. It still does. The Internet started
ca, 1981. Commerce was only allowed on it in 1991. The public Internet evolved
into something neutral ONLY because Title II telephone lines already existed,
so households could get instant access to highly competitive ISP services.
Otherwise, there would have been NO GUARANTEES. It could just as easily have
evolved into something like AOL, or into something like today's enterprise
networks, where neutrality is not even an issue.
Title II telephone lines depend on FCC regulations.
Correct. It is neutral because that is what all of us "below" need
and want.
Really Craig? You seem content to promote the continued existence of MVPD
non-neutral walled gardens, any chance you get. You would have promoted exactly
the same non-neutral concepts if the Internet had evolved without Title II
telephone lines.
You simply don't know why the public Internet became neutral, so you take it
for granted and miss what the essential ingredients were. Another example of
something that takes years and years to get through to you, Craig?
