Comcast confirms plan to buy 21st Century Fox and control of Hulu

This one will be interesting to watch.
If the Feds continue to block the AT&T/TW merger, one would think that this
merger would raise all kinds of red flags at the anti-trust division of the DOJ.
There is a message here for Bert, who has long wondered why big facilities
based MVPDs don’t just go over-the-top everywhere. With control of Hulu, that
is exactly what Comcast will have - a national VMVPD footprint along with a
range of lesser streaming options for those who don’t want to pay for “the
bundle.”
