The new Ultra HD Blu-ray supports a wider range of colors
(Blu-ray supports about 35% of the colors the Human Eye can
perceive, Ultra HD Blu-ray supports about 75% of the colors
the Human Eye can perceive).

(some UHDTV streaming services support the 75% color range)

Anyone know how the color downconversion process works (what
happens to the 40% of colors that may play back from a Ultra
HD Blu-ray disc but can't be displayed on a regular HDTV, are
they mapped to a displayable color)?
