Wishing a market yes. But the state regulators set rates in each market they 
regulate, so the price may be different in St. Petersburg and Miami.


No, Craig, I have to belabor this too. You claimed that Cox cable is not a 
telecom. What I said is that Cox is a telecom, for its broadband service. 
Internet access is even more essential now than telephone access has been, 
over the past century. The rules that have applied to telephony, to keep the 
service strictly neutral, apply in spades to broadband Internet service.

No longer. You are trying to justify a century old deal to limit competition, 
and turn the government into a working partner with the businesses they 
regulate.

And then you do you Usual number of "arguing by association." I couldn't care 
less what monopolists of 100 years ago wanted.

Then  why do you argue to to continue their dubious legacy?

We have been trying to deregulate these unnatural monopolies for nearly 5 
decades. But the regulatory state resists with plenty of help from K street.
