You're sounding incoherent? If broadband is already so widely available, it
seems incredibly obvious that your claim of requiring decades before TV can use
streaming is BS.

That's simply false. Dialup modems are inadequate even for software security
updates, nor do they allow use of protocols such as those for linking from home
to an enterprise network (to permit people to work from home). The DBS
companies have figured this out, Craig, and you should try to figure out why.
The plain fact is, both Dish and DirecTV have strategized ways to become
Internet companies, although using different approaches.
The only hard nut in any of this is rural broadband. Urban and suburban
broadband can very credibly approach 100% these days. And of course, there are
always those who simply want nothing to do with any of it, which is why you'll
never achieve 100%.
