What we are seeing is a modicum of competition, but mostly just a
bunch of new stores.
As opposed to what? That's what I've been trying to get across to you, Craig.
New stores that offer different deals. Different mixes of content, for
different prices. As opposed to just one store, selling the product packaged in
the one way they prefer. Again, DUH!

throwing up one's arms and giving up on you. WAKE UP! Competition is the only
thing that makes them care. Because if they don't offer what you want, the
other guy will.
Why do you think I was so incredulous about your saying that cable TV was "the
superior medium"? Because anyone with the slightest clue should have known, in
the late 1970s, what such a local monopoly would lead to. How do you still not
get this, Craig?
