Do you remember what Commissioner O'Rielly told the wireless audience
in New Jersey Bert? This bill directly addresses the "sea anchor" that
the regulatory morass has become.
Wait, what is it about my point above that is beyond you, Craig? Can you not
understand that a bill which states what I quoted above, replacing an existing
cells with "substantially similar small cell," is not going to be of much help?
Or do you not understand the differences between 3G and 4G macrocells, and 5G
cells? Do you not comprehend that 5G cells are not going to be "replacing" 3G
and 4G cells? Really, Craig?
Why should the law be specific to 5G Bert?
It doesn't have to be specific to 5G, nor does it have to be useful to speed up
5G deployment. They could introduce a bill which explains the siting of TV big
sticks, to attempt to speed up 5G deployment, and that too would not be of much
use. Why always the need to belabor the obvious, Craig?
