Good point, but how often do you see those videophone reports repeated?  I
take the equation as being "this is ahead of the competition and it's the
only way we can get the news out."  It's extremely rare for these videophone
reports to last even an hour; eventually the moderate quality stuff streams
through.

I seem them as akin to the breaking news that a radio reporter would blab
live into a phone (in the days of wire recorders) only to be supplanted when
they got the recorder back to the studio for high-quality and in-depth
quotes.
