I think usually you search the web and download something.  Most PC 
drives can be modded in software or firmware one way or another to get 
around this.  And there are so many PC users that most of those ways 
have been found and posted.

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:

- Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at 
FreeLists.org 

- By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 
unsubscribe in the subject line.
