Bert's wireless ATSC idea has at least some merit - it could connect
wireless devices to the TV in a crude way that would enable the content

to the TV - DVD and BluRay players, game consoles, etc, already have
HDMI as a low priced option.

Craig, the major point here is that the HD ATSC modulator can provide a *WIRELESS* connection to other TVs in the house, and is especially useful where, because of landlord or condo covenants, cables can not be run through walls, etc.

And WHY do you call it 'crude'?

It could be an easy, neat, and simple solution to the problem of not missing a crucial football play because of walking out to the kitchen to grab another beer.
