It's is really painful to watch such corruption from a government official be
perpetuated, unchecked, for so long. And not just corruption of the worst kind,
but also either intended disingenuous behavior, or profound ignorance, about
the responsibilities of his office.
The web sites are no more his business than your Giant food store is the
repsonsibility of your local DOT. The way he tries to distract the other
ignorants, the lawyers in Congress, it just too much to take. Web sites can
readily compete. They don't need anything as much oversight, as do the
utilities, which don't compete. Broadband providers are just such utlities. The
FC's job is telecoms, not you freakin' neighborhood Starbucks and heir web site.
He needs to be booted out of office, for malfeasance.
