From Mark's post: Valensi's compatible-color work may be found in U.S. patents 2,375,966 and 2,873,310. =20 I went here: http://www.uspto.gov/patft/index.html and entered the two = patent numbers under patent number search on the left [green] side of = the page. You have to look at images of the patents and print out each page. ________________________________ From: opendtv-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx on behalf of olho_avatar_i@xxxxxxxxxx Sent: Mon 8/22/2005 3:48 PM To: opendtv@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [opendtv] Re: A detail in the history of video standards Hi Cliff, may i ask how you managed to get hold of the second patent ? Just replaced the numbers in the URL? I did not find an access by patent number on their site, and the search engine seems to be in walking wounded mode. Thanks to Mark anyway for the valuable information. I'm still looking for a biography. For all i know, M. Valensi may have been working for an american company when he filed his patent. The only other detail mentionned on some websites is that he seems to have been involved in time domain multiplexing developments as well. >From: "Benham, Cliff" <Cliff_Benham@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >That worked! >Able to look through both patents and print them out for study. >Thanks! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways: - Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at = FreeLists.org - By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word = unsubscribe in the subject line. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways: - Using the UNSUBSCRIBE command in your user configuration settings at FreeLists.org - By sending a message to: opendtv-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
