Ain't me neither.

I think I've seen the name posted before though I don't remember when or where. And I can understand the desire to keep some things anonymous since if you are officially associated with some company then you have to be very careful not to have your words taken for company statements.

This is a question that is best left unanswered.

Anyway, who says it's just *one* person?

The identity of 'The Masked Engineer' should remain masked so we can
continue to benefit from the knowledge and video expertise the masking
allows.

If unmasked, there might be no more columns full of valuable insights
about video.

Would people trust a column written by
'The UN-Masked Engineer'?
