Great!
Bravo!
It's a wonderful museum with a wonderful convention, not far from the
Columbus airport.

The Early Television Museum in Hilliard Ohio is unique in that most of the
antique electronic devices on display there actually work.
The latest to be returned to operation is a CBS Vericolor television camera
first used in 1950.
It uses a 5820 Image Orthicon and has a spinning r color filter drum between
the target of the IO and the lens.
After 64 years in inoperable condition and 4 months of restoration work by several people,
it began making pictures in color two days ago.
There is still more to do to fine tune the camera and create a studio setting for live
demonstrations with the camera and monitor.
Here is a link to the restoration of this camera and another to the restoration
of a 12 inch Gray Research CBS Color monitor that uses a scanning disk to convert
the B&W CRT images to full color.
