I don't leap to any such conclusions, of course. Fact is, nothing precludes the stand-alone box from being used in the front seat, and that particular blurb I quoted was strangely worded. Aside from that, 1. Your son's friends should be taught something about global warming and flagrant waste of natural resources, not to mention torture of machinery, and 2. Playing games or DVDs in a vehicle is not exactly technically challenging, so it's not something that appeals to me. 3. Also, I would think that someone actually driving the vehicle would be more likely to want to watch live TV than to want to watch a DVD he can play back any old time.
