Bert, After reading your link, I fail to see any reference to the bitrates proposed, only the number of carriers and the modulation type. With DVB-T using 8K carriers and 64 QAM modulation in an 8 MHz channel you can have a payload from 14.93 Mbps to 31.67 Mbps depending on code rate and guard interval. On what have you based your conclusion that they are attempting 3.3 bits/Hz.
