[openbeosnetteam] porting a NIC driver

Hi everyone! :)

I find myself without networking in BeOS and Haiku on my
girlfriend's computer, so I've started looking at porting a driver
from FreeBSD. It's the fxp(4) driver, supporting the Intel Pro
100, which are part of Intel's ICH3 and ICH4, IIRC.

There seem to be some 'BSD-isms in there, like busdma.
Is that a showstopper? Can it wrap a Haiku-DMA-something?

Any advice on how to go about things?

TIA,
Jonas Sundström. // kirilla
