OK, great. I need to take another look at the SoundFont2 spec, but in
general I understand the code.

Don't worry, I can add the code to free the memory. Eventually I need
to make the code so that it can just load the instruments it needs on
demand, which will likely require some changes in the memory management
anyhow. But this code is a good start, and I appreciate your work on
it.

Well I can definitely handle that. By the way, take a look at my
recent newsletter article about the Jamfile-engine I created. This
makes it easy to create Jamfiles for BeOS projects. I plan to have two
more articles about Jam, with the second one in the newsletter after
next, and the third some time after that. Hopefully these will teach
you enough about Jam to be confident in making Jamfiles.
