Hi,

First thing first -- the last enhanced version of kobodeluxe is much
more fun to play. I certainly enjoy the new sound that is produced
when a core dies :)

I am taking over maintenance of the Debian package from Joey Hess and
did a review of copyright/licensing information of the sources.

I noted that in several files that use LGPL for license use a very
scarse header:

  cfgparse.cpp:
  * Copyright (C) 2001, 2007 David Olofson
  *
  * This code is released under the terms of the GNU LGPL.

What is wrong with this is that (1) it differs from the recommended
form of applying the license and (2) it does not say anything about
which version of LGPL is meant.

Files affected:
 cfgparse.cpp
 cfgparse.h
 filemap.cpp
 filemap.h

Compare this to (for example) gamestate.cpp:

  * This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it
  * under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License as published by
  * the Free Software Foundation; either version 2.1 of the License, or (at
  * your option) any later version.
  *
  * This program is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, but
  * WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of
  * MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. See the GNU
  * Lesser General Public License for more details.
  *
  * You should have received a copy of the GNU Lesser General Public License
  * along with this program; if not, write to the Free Software Foundation,
  * Inc., 675 Mass Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139, USA.

Oh, there is a problem with that too, the address of the Free Software
Foundation is old. The current address is 51 Franklin Street, Fifth Floor
Boston, MA 02110-1301i, USA.

Also, there is no explicit license of gfx/* and sfx/* that I find anywhere.
Could you please clarify this? Who is their author, years of copyright and
license would be ideal.

Thanks in advance for looking into this and many thanks again for this
brilliant game!
