Last week Ralph and Janet Jockel delivered 25 hygiene kits and 9 clean-up
buckets to where they will be picked up and transported to the Church World
Service warehouse in Maryland, to be deployed to disaster victims.
(Presbyterian Disaster Assistance partners with Church World Service, so we
can make a bigger impact by joining forces with other denominations.) See
the attached receipt for more information.
We are making plans to send more hygiene kits to Church World Service in
December. Instead of donating complete kits, will you consider donating
items that are needed for the kits? We'll then work together to assemble
the kits after worship on a Sunday in November. Please use the sign-up
sheet in the church lobby to let us know what you'd like to give!
