I've just reserved the week of July 22-28 for a work team to go to Corpus
Christi, Texas to help with rebuilding work from Hurricane Harvey. We will
be near the hardest-hit parts of the Texas coast, near Port Aransas and
Rockport. Our host church can handle up to 40 people; minimum age is 11
years old.
I will pass along more information as soon as I get it, but please let me
know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you plan to join the team. We will be flying
to Corpus Christi, which means we will be buying plane tickets, and ticket
costs will only be going up. So I'd like to start work on our plane
tickets soon. If you think you would like to go but can't commit yet,
that's fine also, but please let me know that you're considering it.
