In past years there have been osprey nests on three navigation markers in the
Columbia just east of Multnomah Falls. This year there seem to be no birds
(yet) and no evidence of the old nests. Were the nests removed intentionally,
or were they casualties of all the east wind this winter?JIm Gorter
