Fellow Birders,

On February 26th I was given the gift of a lifetime when I spotted a Dusky
Thrush in my  backyard.
I am attaching the letter and photos that were sent to the committee for
consideration.
It contains the details and timing of the sightings.

Knowing the huge interest this might stir up, and being something of a
private person, I was hesitant to let the location out.
But I have come to conclude everyone should have the same opportunity that
I was given.

The location it was spotted in was the neighborhood very close to and just
East of the Metzker middle school in Tigard.

I have informed the school and some local business of the potential for
crowds.

I have not seen the bird for almost 10 days now (even though I have walked
the neighborhood twice a day looking).
She was always in the company of robins — but kept to the edges.
With this warming weather, the robins are starting to disperse, so no
telling where she might be spotted if she is still in the area.

I hope she is seen again.
