An adult male CALLIOPE HUMMINGBIRD just paid a brief visit to our feeder,
staying just long enough to allow diagnostic looks at its tiny size and
streaky gorget. So far, it hasn't returned, but I'll keep an eye out for it.
This is the fourth year in a row we've had Calliopes at our feeder in the
spring in this location (too bad it didn't show up yesterday for our
Birdathon)!
