Hi, everyone.  Here’s the latest news on the stupid Speculation Tax.
Whether it’s your second property, or not, everyone who owns a home in the
affected areas (Kelowna and West Kelowna) or has a second home in the
affected areas including Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and lower
Vancouver Island, will have to apply for an exemption from the tax before
March 31 or the NDP will charge you the tax.  If you are a BC resident and
you have a second property in BC that is subject to the Speculation Tax,
the first $400,000 of value is exempt.
