Hello,

Here we are able to use a platform through our website vendor, CivicPlus.  They
have capabilities to use groups through the website or we can use CivicReady,
which is like Everbridge, but was a lot more affordable for our organization.

Thank you,

Subject: [oagitm] Mass Notifications

Hi Folks,

We're looking to enhance our current "panic" alert systems with the application
of mass notification software or service.  We are currently using our email
system to send notifications via email and text message.  As the use of panics
systems grows, we find managing this method of notification delivery
cumbersome.  We think it's time for something more purpose built.  Our
emergency services use a product call "Everbridge," so we have familiarity with
that product.  However, for the purposes of our panic system needs, Everbridge
seems a bit overkill and certainly expensive.

I am wondering what other products are being used and how well it's performing?

Looking forward to your comments.  Hope to see you at the conference in
February!
