To all,
The New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists (NYSCHP) would like to
invite you to the annual Critical Care Pharmacotherapy Program,
which will be held on October 14th, 2016 at Beth Israel Mount Sinai and on
October 15th, 2016 at D'Youville College. The program is an excellent
educational opportunity that offers up to 5 hours of continuing education
credits, covering various critical care topics.
This year, we would like to extend this learning opportunity to the PGY1 and
PGY2 Pharmacy Residents and Fellows, by offering them to present a 15-minute
clinical pearl on a critical care pharmacotherapy topic of their choice. The
clinical pearl can represent an interesting patient case or a topic discussion
and its significance to the current critical care pharmacy practice.
Attached to this email are the instructions for submissions. Note residents
should submit their proposals to either the Upstate or Downstate program (not
both). If selected, NYSCHP will waive the registration fee for the conference.
We will be selecting three residents for each program. This is the first year
that we are offering 1 hour of Resident Clinical Pearl CE presentations. We are
excited to extend this opportunity to the pharmacy residents and look forward
to attracting new membership and enhancing attendance at the Critical Care
Pharmacotherapy Program.
The deadline for submission is August 12th, 2016 by midnight EST.
Full Brochure for the program will be posted soon on the NYSCHP website.
Thank you,
Lisa
