I found out what was happening. In this install, it's necessary for the exe and dll's to reside in the exe home directory. The very first line of the app changes the default folder, so it seems that this one line of code fires before windows checks for all the dlls. This is strange because I didn't think any line of code would fire before the components were loaded. _____ From: nycfoxsig-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:nycfoxsig-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Nadya Nosonovsky Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2008 9:46 AM To: nycfoxsig@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [nycfoxsig] Re: rt can't find components Did you check http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~VFP9RuntimeFiles you may also check http://www.berezniker.com/content/pages/visual-foxpro/vfp-90-report-features-runtime On Wed, Sep 10, 2008 at 10:43 PM, Lew <lew1716@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: I'm attempting to deploy a small app by copying all the rt dll's & my exe into the same directory. Yet I get this error which seems to indicate that the exe can't find one or more of the components, even though they are all (gdiplus vfp9r, vfp9t & vfpenu ) right there. Has anyone run into this?
