It's working fine hre, but not much different than the first build but I'm using Win 7 64 bit with a 2.6 Quad core processor so I couldn't notice any performance difference.

Yeah I agree with that. Also some words e.g., google sounds to me like booble, cleaner like pleaner, comma like pomma, count like pount, etc. This just confuses me, since english is not my native language.

Hi, well that has fixed it on both counts I think. we can now get down to trying to figure out the things it says weirdly.
If you ask it to say 55, it seems to say fifty fime.

At least to my ears and not really understanding the sliders , I am loathe to alter things too much.

Anyway, I'm off to install it on the intel machines to see how that works. This is the amd machine.

Subject: [nvda-addons] New nvSpeechPlayer build 2014.6.2

Hi all,

Please find a new build of nvSpeechPlayer (2014.6.2) here:
https://bitbucket.org/nvaccess/speechplayer/downloads/nvSpeechPlayer_2014.6.2.nvda-addon

Builds are now definitely compiling with out SSE2, so should run fine on AMD chips on XP. Also nvSpeechPlayer now uses nvwave for audio output and no longer has any of its own code for this. This should improve performance significantly on XP, and may also improve things on 7/8 if people had noticed problems in the past.

Please test and let me know how it goes.

Thanks
Mick
