Duties
As a Pathways Intern (Procurement Technician), you will:
· Review acquisition requests received from customers and Contracting Officer's
Representatives (COR) for completeness, ensuring project descriptions,
specifications, statements of work, market research, acquisition plans and any
related justifications are adequate.
· Assist in assembling and finalizing requests for quotation and/or
solicitations for standard items for procurement. Checks to ensure packages
contain required bid schedules and forms, standard terms and conditions,
clauses, bid opening time/date, wage rates, etc.
· Answer inquiries from potential contractors relating to non-technical phases
of the quotation/bid or solicitation. Maintains bidder and source material,
mailing lists, etc.
· Request wage rate determinations from the Department of Labor as necessary
for construction projects.
· Maintain acquisition files until disposed of through proper regulatory
channels.
