Hi Paul

Unfortunately I have to return it at the weekend - but thanks for the
suggestion anyway.

David

Hi David

Why not bring it to next week's meeting if it can wait that long

Subject: [npcug] HP Pavilion BIOS

Can anyone tell me how to get into the BIOS on a Hewlett Packard
Pavilion
8695 machine. It just shows a logo screen at bootup. I've tried pressing
the
delete and pause keys but don't know what other keystrokes to try.

The USB ports won't recognise a scanner and a webcam even though they
have
the latest drivers and the Microsoft USB update for Win98 SE installed.
I
want to check the settings in the BIOS and I'm stuck so help would be
much
appreciated!

David
