Hi everyone,
Six of us got together today to make plans for the B2B sing we're going to
do on Aug. 5.
There should be at least 11 of us participating. The race doesn't start
until 8:15 and we'll be singing near the end of the course, which means we
won't see any runners until 8:42 at the very earliest (unless the course
record is smashed.)
But we're going to set up at 7:30AM, so we should try to be in place by
then if possible. We're looking at 6 pieces -- very easy. We'll have a
rehearsal this coming Sunday (7/30) at the church at 5:30 with Leela.
I'll try to get a map and .pdf versions of all the music out tomorrow, as
well as a more complete schedule of rehearsals for the week before the run.
I can tell you we'll have a cool banner so runners will know who's singing
for them, as well as a PA (mic/speakers) that the race organizers are
setting up. We'll also ha ve tickets to the volunteer dinner the prior
Wednesday, and your board will treat singers to breakfast after the event
on Saturday (restaurant to be announced!)
