[noCensorship] localProxy on windows XP

Hi,
I was able to get to a windows XP (Pro) workstation today
to check whether LP 'test/merge' works there. I used the
Dec, 2002 Windows executable.
It worked fine.
I was asking if a previous poster saw a new window pop up.
It doesn't :-)
The test log appears in the GUI log window.
I forget when I changed that.
