On Taylor's Creek - Weems - we have 10 -15 species per day where last year we
had 12-18 species per day.
common are RBWO, TUTI, CACH, AMCR, TUVL, GBHE, and DEJU. Less common are PIWO,
NOCA, MODO, DOWO, BLJA, and BEKI. Infrequent are BLVU, BAEA,CAWR, BRCR, MALL,
CAGO, RSHA, RTHA, HOFI, PUFI, and EABL

We have ESOW every time I call them and EABL when I walk up the road.
We have a neighbor who feeds and has water out daily which helps.

During the past month we have not seen RBNU, WBNU, or BUFF.

So, now looking up at this list, it seems we are about on par for the past few
years. When the cold weather comes...perhaps we will get a few more ducks.

Best,

Bill Gimpel

According to my observations the number of back yard birds is definitely down
this year.

On the river we have a magnificent brown pelican that will surely freeze to
death if we have a prolonged cold spell.
