Middle Peninsula Bird Walk at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, 7900 Daffodil Lane, Ware
Neck area, at 8:00 am. Bring your binoculars and enjoy watching and listening
to the variety of birds found on the property. Brent and Becky’s Bulbs is
listed as a birding “hotspot” on eBird (Cornell University’s website of citizen

Spring migrants and summer residents are arriving! and some winter residents,
including irruptive species, are still hanging around.
Masks are required, as well as social distancing. Bring your own binoculars.

The walks are approximately 2 hours long, but you may leave at any time. You do
not have to be an expert to join the walks; we are an informal group with no
membership fees. We welcome all levels of birders. More information can be

Thursday April 22
We will celebrate Earth Day with Susan and George Nottingham on the Piankatank
River. Join us at 8:00 am on Thursday April 22. Address: 11126 Piankatank Drive
(Rt. 703) in the Dutton area of Gloucester. The Nottinghams were building their
house last year, so we have not visited their property in awhile. They have a
new driveway from Piankatank Drive. Ospreys, Bald Eagles (6 or 7 in a tree at
once!), Woodpeckers, Great Blue Herons; you name it, they have it!!
