Weather looks like it will be chilly...but otherwise ok.
Most of this walk is inland from the Potomac. It is more of a pond a creek
walk. The pond and creek areas have always been productive for seeing birds.
We are not actually starting on VirMar Beach. Here is what I see as the latest
forecast for the zip code that covers the walk area.

Here are the directions to Sandy Dodge’s House:
We will meet at 9:00 a.m. at 250 Flag Pond, Heathsville, VA 22473
(DON'T GO TO HEATHSVILLE! THIS IS THE ADDRESS FOR GPS),
Directions are as follows: From Kilmarnock, take Route 200 N (E. Church St)
12. 7 miles to the stop light at Route 360 in Burgess. Turn left on Rt. 360 W,
go 1/8th mile and turn right on Rt. 644 (Hacks Neck Road). Follow 644 for 4.5
miles and turn left onto Brammer Drive. Take your first left onto Swan Lake,
then your first right onto Flag Pond Lane. From Warsaw, take Route 360 E
approximately 26. 5 miles to Burgess. Turn left on Rt. 644 (Hacks Neck Road)
which is 1/8th mile before the intersection of 360 & Rt. 200 at the stoplight.
Follow 644 for 4.5 miles and turn left onto Brammer Drive. Take your first
left onto Swan Lake, then your first right onto Flag Pond Lane.
