The most popular owls on the northern neck is a subjective question.
We do have four species of owl on the northern neck. Barn Owls, Eastern
Screach-owls, Barred Owls and the great horned owl. As far as nest boxes,
there are some plans on the internet, but habitat and food sources are
critical for owls if they are to successfully nest.
Try Googling the owl nest box plans.
The Northern Neck Audubon Society, made Kestral/Screach-owl boxes a few
years ago. If you are interested i do have one.
