A friend recently gave me a book. I have finished it. 'Songbird Journeys: Four Seasons in the Lives of Migratory Birds', by Miyoko Chu. Ms Chu is an ornithologist and staff writer for the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology. She follows the songbird migrations through nesting and wintering phases using the latest in radar tracking, radio/satellite tracking and on-site studies. Did you know that bobolinks go south of the equator, all the way to Argentina in the winter? What happens when the magnetic pole switches for them in mid-flight? You may have the book. Please pass it on to others. Respond by email.......Tom Tom Teeples 28 Fox Tail South Irvington, VA 22480 804-435-0636 tandpteeps@xxxxxxxxxxx
