My first impression was of a Cooper's Hawk. The colonization in the photo
looks to be off, so I disregarded that information entirely.
The shape and length of the tail is what brought me to that point. The
breast markings suggest a juvenile Cooper's Hawk.
Great sighting, I always get excited about seeing birds of prey.
