Today we did our first official monitoring tour of the Belle Isle Blue Bird
Trail.
Out of a total of 20 Bluebird Boxes 11 contained completed nests with eggs 1
had a completed nest and two had partial Bluebird nests.
At this point in time we had 53 Bluebird eggs. One Bluebird Box is being sublet
to a Chick-a-Dee family for the time being.
Overall we are off to a great start for this season.
If anyone would like to take part in the wonderful experience of Bluebird
monitoring – a chance to see newly hatched BB Chicks grow into their flight
feathers and fly off.
