I would especially like to know when Jane was a member and presented this
story to the chapter. Also if you would like me to forward the email with the
attachment let me know. The book and illustrations are charming and I think it
would be wonderful to have our chapter identified in the book.

Dear Northern Neck Audubon friends, I am hoping that one or more of you will
remember my sister, Jane Stouffer Williams, who was an active member of your
society and a great lover of birds, especially ducks. She wrote a book that
gained appreciation from your chapter but was much too long to be published.
Since her death, our family has created an abbreviated children’s version of
the book to be published by Archway, a subsidiary of Simon and Schuster. The
book proof is attached with the covers attached separately. It would help
enormously to draw attention to this beautiful book about a duck if you could
write a couple of sentences about its authenticity to be included on the cover
or inside cover.
In case you don’t remember Jane, the back cover shows a picture of her with her
husband and Super Duck, along with her bio.
