Yeah, looks like on Bissel you climbed 600 feet in the course of less than 3 
miles… I’ll make sure to avoid that one 😉
And yes, I recall that cute stone farmhouse (in perfect condition) and 
considered stopping to take a picture, but didn’t want to stop the momentum at 
the time.

HI Tony,

     Although, I haven't ridden that route for many years,  I agree that 
Rockaway Road is a beautiful stretch.  If my memory correct one passes a farm 
house that looks like it was transported from England three centuries ago.

I also note that you passed by Bissel Road.  Our route took us up Bissel and 
down to Round Valley Reservoir.  My   memory was that Bissel Road was a really 
steep climb.

Perhaps worth considering a car  trip to do this ride next spring.
