Friends - I forgot to say to whomever is on the conference planning
subcommittee that I'd like to see NJAMC offer a session related to ethics at
our fall conference. Ethics hours are always in hot demand and this also seems
to be a priority topic for NJCA this year.
Thank you to those members who volunteered to be on the conference planning
subcommittee!

Subject: Possible topics for fall NJAMC conference sessions
NJAMC Friends,
My campus has really stepped up diversity programming this academic year. I
thought that some of their upcoming workshop topics might also potentially work
for our November conference. I'm just putting them out there as food for
thought to help us brainstorm and plan in the coming months.
* "What is Hidden Bias and How Do I Overcome it?"
* "I Committed a Micro-Aggression: Now What Do I Do?"
* "Responding to the Concerns of Black Lives Matter: Whats Happening in
Philadelphia and Ways Everyone Can Support this Important Work"
* "Widening the Meaning of Community: Issues Concerning Refugees and
Immigrants"
