Dear TCNJ students, faculty, and staff:
The College of New Jersey continues to provide learning opportunities to the
campus community to increase our awareness in the area of diversity and
inclusiveness. Dr. Robin DiAngelo will be presenting a lecture on campus on
Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. in the Mayo Concert Hall. She will be
discussing key concepts in social justice, and tools for creating equity in
the educational environment. A question and answer session will follow her
presentation.
Dr. DiAngelo received her PhD from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Her area of focus is critical racial and social justice education. She has
written several books and published articles in peer-reviewed journals. In
addition to her academic work, Dr. DiAngelo is a highly sought after
presenter, and has been featured in NPR, Slate, The Atlantic and The New York
Times.
