Hi Steve, I don’t think I’ll be able to attend due to legislative hearings, but
if Steve Sherman can go that should work. What I was hoping to discuss with
the group is the mini-grant program we are looking to start that would provide
towns and municipalities with 50% cost share for any expenses related to Rx
burning on municipal-owned conservation lands. We now have the $20,000 in an
account with authorization to expend, and I’d like to get the program
functioning this next season. I am looking to the Council to help with the
process and ideas, and also to help rank the applications. If I can’t attend,
I will send any thoughts I have with Steve.
