The Walk for Sight is scheduled for Saturday, June 4...just a week away !
I am going to walk again with my guide dog this year and try to give some back
to an amazing organization that continues to help me and so many others that
are blind or have experienced vision loss like I have. Maybe you would like to
walk with us or follow a link below to make a donation ? The team of which I
am captain this year is an X-sighted group of clients that are visually
impaired and blind. My personal experience
losing my sight to the point of
legal blindness 6 years ago
has made it very important for me to do all that I
can to raise awareness of blindness and vision loss. Please keep us in your
prayers. :)
Come Join Team X-sighted and help us reach our goal to raise $3000.00 in the
New Hampshire Association For The Blind's 13th Annual Walk For Sight. This can
all be done online, or in-person, the old-fashioned way. We have 7 peers and 4
of our family and friends signed up to date with a goal of 25 total on our
team. It is never too late to register
walk-ins that day are welcome too! In
past years, walkers from all over the state including several nonprofit
agencies, have participated in the walk and helped raise funds for vital vision
rehabilitation services provided by the New Hampshire Association for the Blind.
